How A Babysitting Job Turned Into 100+ Franchises In A Few Short Years

To help put himself through college, Joe Keeley started baby-sitting, and pretty soon, he had parents calling him to see if he had recommendations for other college students who wanted to babysit. Before long, Keeley was acting as a recruiter, and College Nannies, Sitters and Tutors was born.

Keeley began to franchise his concept by offering territories to college students in other regions, and by 2016, he was up to more than 100 franchises—and a revenue of more than $34M network-wide. This is when he decided to cash out, and one of his biggest customers acquired him.
